Spring 2020 Online Gaming Event

Posted March 20, 2020

While all of you are doing the socially responsible thing and staying home, we thought it would be nice to do a little online gaming during what was, until recently, a LAN party weekend.

We’ll be gaming online from 3 pm (CST) to ~11 pm. All announcements and coordination will occur on the Laclede's LAN Discord!

TeeWorlds

TeeWorlds is a free, open-source side-scrolling multiplayer shooting game originally created by Swedish developer Magnus Auvinen and now maintained by the community. Pirates, Vikings, & Knights II (TeeWorlds alternate)

We may chose to end TeeWorlds a bit early for Pirates, Vikings and Knights II; a multiplayer team-based first-person action video game, developed as a total conversion modification on Valve proprietary Source engine. The game is set around three teams, the pirates, the Vikings and the knights—each with distinct classes and abilities—battling in a variety of game modes across various Medieval, Norse and Caribbean environments.

Unreal Tournament 2004

Unreal Tournament 2004 is a first-person shooter representing a fast-paced extreme sport of the future. The game, designed primarily for multiplayer gameplay, offers multiple ways of movement including double-jumping, dodge-jumping, wall-dodging and shield-jumping. UT2004 also features an extensive array of weapons, all of which come with a secondary fire. Some of them were designed specifically for use in vehicle-based game types, and typically appear only in those game types such as the Anti-Vehicle Rocket Launcher (AVRiL) and the Grenade Launcher. More than 100 maps are included in the game for all new and existing game types.
